Landi and I have been friends for a very long time, sometimes closer than others but only because of work and other obligations. She has always been the same, she's fun and bubbly and you always feel good around her. The last photos I took of her and Riaan was at their wedding 5 years ago!. Wow time flies! I was so excited the day she told me she was pregnant, because this was honestly a huge blessing and a dream come true for her. Baby Mieke will be here soon and we can all not wait to meet her. This is my handsome brother Dolf on the day of his Matric Farewell. He is a sportsman, and adventurer someone that loves the outdoors, and lucky him he is good at everything he does. He's such a talented sportsman, alway at the top, he knows what it feels like to win, not something I am very familiar with! Thats why I'm so proud of him. Next year he is doing multiple courses in ab sailing, scuba diving and more. I think he is going to love it. Love you lots!

Ok so I have mentioned this in one of my previous blogs, but it's very relevant to todays post. A few months ago I went to a business seminar at our church WCC and realised I don't know what my 10 year goal for my business is. Funny how quick things change! I have a brand new business venture, fashion for photographers! Yup photographers can also be stylish, no need for waistcoats and camel pants with a large backpack on your back! I'm importing these and other (coming soon) photography bags from across the globe and man are they exciting! Wrapping this bag around your shoulders with pockets especially for batteries and flash cards, makes life easier at a shoot, and off course you look good as well! It has taken me and the Paulo Family about a year to complete this project, we captured images of them in each season and we have now completed the last season; winter. Excited about putting their book together but I am definitely going to miss photographing them! In each season I could see a change in each child, they actually do grow that fast! I feel so fortunate that I could be part of this project, and really enjoyed it! Now I am looking forward to designing their album, might blog a few pages in the future. Salt of the earth is what you call these two. Being around them is so comfortable and pleasant I wish I could do this shoot again! Fran is expecting a little boy very soon, an enormous and long awaited blessing she calls it, and we chose a secret garden as their backdrop which worked out excellent! It felt like we where in another world. Blessings to the two, no three of you and hopefully a family session is next on the list, hint, hint! Enjoy!
