This beautiful couple, expecting their first baby, was such a delight to me. We immediately clicked, and we where chatting like we've known each other for ages. Maybe because we have so much in common, young married couple,we are also expecting our first baby etc. Helmien and I could chat about all the pregnancy symptoms, and actually have compassion for each other, because believe me it is a challenge! Yesterday I got the chance to meet their little bundle of joy, Ruben. He is absolutely gorgeous and I can honestly not wait to edit and post his first photo shoot. Some of you will remember Busi and Matela's engagement session we did in Cape Town (view here). Their wedding was held in their home country Lesotho. They had the perfect day, weather wise and everything else was out of the books. I so enjoyed their family and friends, they made me feel right at home, and as I entered Busi's family home, I realised we had a lot in common. I just love the fact that she and her family are in love with God! You can sense it a mile away. When entering their home, there was traditional Lesotho musicians outside playing beautiful music, the kind that just makes you feel good! At the reception we enjoyed lovely traditional food, and I literally licked my fingers off! It was fun to share their special day, and on top of it all I got to meet the King of Lesotho, so honored! Thank you guys, for making me part of this very special experience, there are loads more pictures for you to enjoy, I just had to stop myself otherwise my blog would burn out! 

The amazing thing about my job is, I get to meet a lot of people and I love people! My favorite part is actually taking the pictures and spending time with people. I also meet new clients through every person I photograph, needless to say 90% of my work comes from referrals. Thank you to everyone that has referred me in the past I really do appreciate it! I met Marisa and her hubby at Hercules & Nolene's wedding (view it here) Marisa is Nolene's sister. I was so excited about seeing them again and this time focussing on Marisa's belly, so cute! They are expecting a little boy and I cannot wait to meet him. Enjoy your little one!

How adorable is Inge and her little sister Dea? I've known both these girls since they where very small, photographed their christenings and done family portraits. It is amazing how fast time flies, and I am sure it goes even faster with your own children. I cannot wait to meet my little girl!
